A vineyard with cellar door, Café, Bed & Breakfast accommodation, plus camping grounds situated high up in the foothills of the Bunya Mountains with expansive views of the mountains and surrounding hills. Visitors and Guests are welcomed to the peace and tranquility of farm life and real country hospitality.
This property was originally a diary farm and was purchased by the current owners in 1999. The property was completely refenced (except road fence) since then and currently divided into 6 paddocks including house paddock.
The soil is a sandy loam scrub soil and dominant native trees are Brigalow, Belah and Wilga. The property is now set up for 3 main income streams which are Wine, Accommodation and Goats.
Income from the property is virtually drought proof eg under current wine licensing laws, one can purchase grapes from an outside source during droughts and or the Act of God. Under the current arrangement the Estate employs a Professional Winemaker regarded as one of the best in Queensland to make the wine at premises in Stanthorpe. The grapes are transported to Stanthorpe and brought back in bottles for storage locally.
Accommodation guests generally come from the internet and word of mouth. This is run on a B & B basis with 2 types of accommodation available. Two cabins ideal for couples and a cottage with log fire sleeping up to 9. Each cabin has its own private verandah looking into the beautiful Bunya Mountains.
Goats are sold live into the live export market or processed at a local registered abattoir for sale at the cellar door or to restaurants. Included in the sale are the 130 Boer Cross Goats.
Visitors of all ages enjoy local grey kangaroos and pretty faced wallabies.
Accommodation
- 1 x 3 bedroom chamferboard unfurnished Owners home with wood heater and repainted throughout.
- 1 x 3 bedroom historic school house with wood heater utilized for B & B accommodation (sleeps 8)
- 2 x 1 bedroom fully self contained cabins built new in 2002 each with kitchen, ensuite and verandah and fully furnished.
- Meals are either self catered with estate poultry and beef/goat available or home-style cooking by arrangement.
- Cellar Door consists of a weatherboard building with ducted air conditioning with male & female toilets and shower plus full length verandah used as a wine tasting and sale venue and is licensed to prepare and serve food. Seating for approximately 25 people.
- The Cellar Door is a historic building bought from the local town of Dalby where it was used as the Fire Brigade quarters.
- Wine tasting and light meals are available including homemade goat pies and curries which are a huge success. Currently open Friday to Sunday and school holidays.

- Cattle Yards: Galvanised steel with loading ramp suitable for goats and cattle
- All fencing has been replaced with ironbark posts, 3 barbs and 2 plain wires (electrified) and an earth plain wire and energized from a 240v energizer.

Situation & Property description
The Estate (elevation 520m) is approximately 23 kms from the top of Bunya Mountains National Park and has expansive views of the Bunya. The Mountains is a huge drawcard for tourists to the area. Other tourist attractions are the Jondaryan Woolshed, the Oakey Army Flying Museum and the Muntapa Tunnel.
